Network Care

Network Care is the combined practice of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) and Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). Through NSA, people develop two healing waves associated with profound improvements in health and wellness. As these waves develop, specific breath, movement, and energy rhythms naturally emerge to support the next strategy in their NSA care. Through the practice of SRI, people can assess and be aware of their changes, and through a self practice continue their growth and participatition with their health and wellness.

Network Spinal Analysis

Network Spinal Analysis was first developed in the early 1980’s by Dr. Donald Epstein. NSA is utilized by thousands of practitioners around the world and has been studied in several major universities, both in the United States and internationally. It has been studied due to its dramatic, impressive health and wellness contributions to our well-being.

NSA is a revolutionary approach to wellness that applies low-force touches at Spinal Gateways or at certain contact points on the body. These gentle contacts help to assist the brain to connect more effectively with the spine and body, enabling individuals to develop new wellness-promoting strategies for living and health.

The intent of NSA is to enable the body’s own self-generated mechanisms of movement and respiration to assist in the correction of mechanical tension and interference in the nervous system.

NSA care is advanced through a series of levels of care, each producing specific abilities for the spine to adapt to the environment. During care, there is an improvement of spinal and neural integrity, adaptability, and significantly advanced wellness as well as quality of life change.

Somato Respiratory Integration

Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) teaches you how to access your inner resources of ease and connection and bring them to areas of tension, symptoms or disconnection. Simple exercises include touch, breath, movement and focused attention. Through each level of Network Care, the SRI rhythms will assist you on the journey of discovering your body’s resources, transforming old blocks and patterns, and embodying your most enlivened self.

The goal of SRI is to help individuals develop lifetime skills, safety, strength, wisdom and love in relationship to the experience of his/her body, its behaviors, structures and perceptions. Through reconnecting a person’s breath, touch, focused movement and attention, they are able to experience their body more fully and trust their body's widsom.

The conceptual model for SRI is detailed in Dr. Donald M. Epstein’s book, The Twelve Stages of Healing: A Network Approach to Wholeness.
